San Francisco

Founded in 1619, Dulwich College is one of the United Kingdom’s premier private schools. Their philosophy is to educate the whole child from nursery age through secondary school in preparation for top international universities. Having expanded around the world, they are now working on plans for their first facilities in the US, in San Francisco and then Seattle.
The San Francisco facility will be located in the new Innovation District/Hunter’s Point development. This new mixed-use district is just five miles from downtown, alongside San Francisco Bay; the prime location will allow the school to connect technology researchers, educators, families, and students of all ages.

An all-encompassing campus will provide facilities for boarding, parking, and first rate performing arts, indoor athletics, aquatics, and outdoor athletics. These facilities will supplement the academic functions, each organized around a series of cascading athletic, academic, and early play courtyards that connect back to the overall development’s central park.
Our work for the Dulwich College system in Seattle is at an earlier stage in the planning process, and includes site selection and master planning consulting as the client explores options.
