PRIVATE PreK – 12 

With existing campuses in Silicon Valley, CA, Freemont, CA, Brooklyn, NY, Manhattan, NY, and McLean, VA, and consistent top 5 US News & World Report rankings, this program’s mission is to raise the standards of student learning to the highest international levels, delivered by faculty who are experts in their fields asked to focus solely on teaching and student support. This new school in Los Angeles, California will offer first rate education opportunities and amenities that serve its community well.

Overlooking a natural wash area, four structures totaling approximately 115,218 gross square feet will support art, music, science, and general classroom functions in addition to informal gathering, study, food service, gymnasium, performing arts, and administration areas.  In addition to a variety of creek-side experiences, site improvements will include smart vehicular access, synthetic playfield, hardscape play, pre-k play, and other interaction opportunities, while canopy and signage elements will provide a welcoming entrance to the school.

The buildings are organized to create an appropriate blend of separation and connection for different age groups, nurturing while promoting interaction amongst students expected to learn from their elders and mentor their juniors.  All classrooms and specialized learning spaces are oriented to maximize north and south natural light for optimum learning conditions, while small group, extended learning, outdoor veranda, and larger site spaces maximize camaraderie through social gathering and informal study at a variety of scales.   These shared spaces physically and symbolically progress to upper and lower dining areas fronting outdoor quads at the middle of the complex, creating a collegiate campus atmosphere that gives each student a sense of their next step, from pre-K through high school and beyond.
