Completed 2004

Arcadis provided services for master planning and expansion of the existing Roseburg High School campus to accommodate the addition of the freshman class, culminating in $18 million of new construction. The master plan detailed the three-year phased construction of three new campus buildings, the demolition of three existing buildings, and major site renovations.  All construction occurred while the campus was open for classes.

The buildings consist of a new wellness building including a gym floor (11,900 sf); a new student services building including areas for music, drama, black-box, and arts as well as 650 seat theaters and a cafeteria/kitchen (43,500 sf); and a “New Main” classroom building including science rooms, general classrooms, computer labs, and new administration area (80,500 sf).  Cosmetic remodel of the “Old Main” classroom building was the final phase of the construction.
