The reincarnation of this comprehensive 1,600 student high school was a multiyear, phased project. Having no option for relocating students during the project, the team staged the work to allow the students to remain on campus and the school to be fully operational during the course of the project. Launched following a six-month Community Visioning process to reimagine the nature of high school education, the design task involved constructing and remodeling all aspects of this comprehensive high school. This award winning project puts learning first and focuses on the student experience. The design of the West Linn High School addition and remodel is a reflection of the District’s goals for educating its students and outreach to the community.
